A master of piano artistry, Whitney Phoenix was a musical prodigy who began studying piano at the age of 8 and was playing solo concerts by the time he was 12. Trained at the Oberlin Conservatory in Ohio, Whitney served in the Marine Corps for 4 years as a Piano Instructor in the Armed Forces School of Music in Virginia Beach, then spent the subsequent years playing keyboards with local bands along the Southern California coast and in the Seattle-Tacoma area. Since relocating to Las Vegas in 1985, Whitney Phoenix has performed as a solo artist at Caesar's Palace, Imperial Palace and MGM Grand, and has been a featured solo pianist at the world-renowned Bellagio Resort since its opening in 1998. He has released several CDs, including I Love a Piano (volumes 1 & 2), Expressions, Phantom by Request, Echoes of Eternity, and A Christmas Heart. He also performs with his wife Marianne LeMoine Phoenix and currently serves as musical director for her hit show “50 Pounds From Stardom.”
